笑點太多了，可以說比無厘頭更加無厘頭，荒誕離奇卻又可愛可笑。大師的腦洞實在太大了，在灌滿雨水的戰壕下的宿舍睡覺，用子彈開瓶蓋點煙，假扮成樹打入敵人內部，最后直接開車把敵軍首領帶回盟軍營地。本來是皆大歡喜，還給全人類送上美好的祝愿：Peace on earth-good will to all mankind，沒想到是黃粱一夢，反諷意味十足。100年前的片子完全還能搬到今天的影院里。
